VP, Procurement

Ron Hess serves as Vice President of Procurement for AG&P.  Prior to joining AG&P, Ron held executive positions in Supply Chain, Business Development, and led turnaround and corporate strategy development and deployment activities.  His prior experience included the development and execution of global purchasing strategies and the development of Supply Chain teams and process in China, Europe, US, Philippines, Korea and Mexico.  He also led the development and deployed a global warehouse and logistics network in Singapore, Philippines, China, US, Europe and Mexico.  Ron serviced as Managing Director in Tokyo Japan and in Utrecht Netherlands where he had full P&L and operation responsibility.  Ron has over 30 years of Purchasing and Supply Chain experience.  In his career he worked for the US Air Logistics Command as a Contract Negotiator, TRW Ballistic Missile Division as Purchasing Manager, Thiokol Corporation (ATK) as a Sr Buyer for heavy fabrication of test facilities and equipment for the US rocket propulsion program and Global Director of Purchasing for Littelfuse Inc., a global semiconductor and passive component manufacturing company.  Ron holds a BS degree from Utah State University in Marketing and Computer Science and is a Certified Purchasing Manager.
