VP, Construction and Engineering

Ian Moncur serves as Vice President for Construction and Engineering at AG&P.  Prior to joining AG&P, Ian served as the BP North America Representative to AG&P for the Whiting Refinery Modularization Project.  Ian has 47 years of experience in fabrication, construction and engineering with experience in oil, gas, chemical, hydro-electric, irrigation and power projects.  He has worked in the UK, Pakistan, Kashmir, India, Greece, Spain, the Caribbean, China, Korea and the Philippines.  Ian served as the Construction Manager for the BP Zhuhai Chemical Company and BP China LPG Company.  Prior to joining BP, Ian worked at Skanska Whessoe and Whessoe International for 19 years as a Construction Manager, Project Manager, Project Superintendent, Site Manager, Construction Technical Advisor and Offshore Yard Supervisor.  Ian began his career as a Crane Operator and Welder for Rolling Stock Engineering, Reed and Mallick, MJ Gleeson, Taylor Woodrow, Wylde of Tomorden and Harvey Cranes.  Ian received his technical training at Darlington Technical College in 1969.
